FDA announces more crushed cinnamon products with lead contamination – including Dollar Tree products
In the spring of 2024, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) issued a nationwide warning regarding several brands of ground cinnamon that contained high levels of lead. What to do if cinnamon is contaminated
Foods with high lead levels can pose health risks over time, the warning said. If you have any of the above products, it is safest to dispose of them properly and not ingest them.
